We are contacted frequently by warbird enthusiasts and historians intent on recovering or preserving some aspect of military aviation history. So we thought it was a good idea to start assembling information here of what is going on in order to help people connect and share the available information.
Midland Aircraft Recover Group
The Midland Aircraft Recovery Group is working up a project to rebuild a Hawker Hurricane. Contact Mark Evans through their website contact page.
Steve Adams is planning to scratch build a 1/24 Hurricane with one side completed and the opposite side cut-away to reveal the inner workings including working control cables plus electrical, fuel and hydraulic lines.
Steve has completed similar models in the past and plans to donate the finished product to a suitable aviation museum.
